Hello everyone- Is there anyway at all to get around or turn off the limit to a file size Word 2000 can open? I have a genealogy file of roughly *800 MB*, and it starts off as if it is going to open it. A few real minutes later (About four minutes), it will display the top portion of the file briefly, but immediately proceeds to give me an error. I am using a computer with 3.8G of memory, and AMD Athlon XP processor (1.66G), and 100 G hard drive, 72G free. I should have the room. Ok, according my book, 32MB is the limitation for Word to open a file. Ug. I could have sworn I saw people opening bigger files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
