I can see where your idea Chris has come from with the from jaws to vo manual. But I think for some people, that's where most of their frustration lies. They're constantly thinking of how do I get my mac to work like windows and how do i get VO to work like jaws. I really think the best way to learn a new system is to learn it for what it is and not keep reverting back to how we used to do things. I know I'm a fairly new mac user, only starting to use it last October but I can honestly say the best thing I did to learn my mac, and to learn it quickly and successfully has been to forget about how I used to do things and start to do them in a whole new way. It's just my opinion and if it helps some people, but it's like if you start a new relationship with a partner or get a new guide dog, you can't compare it to a predecessor. It's unfair and quite debilitating for the new partnership.

Hi.I've just tried command F and it did bring up the find, but I couldn't work it out either. I found Command F by accident. I pressed it-- following the pattern of Command-r in mail, thinking that it wouldforward my message, and instead noticed that it opened up a Find Window. So, when in Safari, I tried to use it. When you press it, it does say Find. Don't know why, but I will use VO-F in the future. thanks again! If all you want to do is be nasty and put people down then good ridins to you. I highly doubt that your over flowing fountain of Mac/ Voiceover knowledge will be missed. Command F does perform a function, but the one donnal was looking for is V.O. F. Couldn't you just have point out her error instead of sounding like a fool?
