Actually, you can do plenty with the mac terminal.
Anything you can do under linux you can do under mac terminal. The
only problem is that on mac, you need to interact with the text to
get it to talk to you, and review mode is necessary for using the
terminal.
Hopefully it'll get better in future versions of the os.
