And, yes, I regularly use vo commands with one hand, as I have two little ones, and they frequently sit on my lap while I'm at the keyboard. Locking the vo keys makes using nearly all of the vo commans possible with one hand. On a laptop, I agree, it might be a stretch, but on a full sized keyboard, it's relativvely easy to lock the vo keys using vo-; then press the shift key in combination with whatever other key is needed.

There's also the numpad which can assign functions to any keys you like.
