Hi Hazel, thanks for that and I'll look into it further. Have you availed
yourself of this service and how beneficial did you find it?

Andy

Hello, Andy,
I live in Northern Ireland and you can join a one to one service at your local
Apple Mac Store.
They charge £79 for a one year subscription and they will trouble shoot and
help navigate the beast.
You can bring any apple device and they will help with Voice over too. They
The group in Belfast really try hard.
I am sure it will be the same in England too.
Best wishes,
Hazel Flannigan
Armagh.

Hi Scott, thanks for that I will look into this further. Do you know of any
training packs for Mac? I know freedom scientific do a set of cds for Jaws
users, is there a similar thing available with Apple?

Andy

Well, Loo who I think is on this list is in the UK and offers Mac services,
maybe you could pay him to train you and your training would already be
blindness specific from a skilled technician.

Pending that, the Apple store has one on one sessions. I have heard from blind
users in the states these can be very good and the staff is usually familiar
with VO. I think these classes are about $100 US. (I think that's about 60
Pounds)

Finally, the Moderator is a certified Apple technician / trainer. Maybe you
could work a deal there.
