PS: The OK Chorale sang, "it should be 'Mazal tov.'"

In standard English usage, the best rendering of the phrase is "mazel tov," with an "e" instead of an "a." The "a" is still acceptable as a variant rendering of the Mishnaic Hebrew, however.
