I meant, Eric, that by your standards, nothing can be news in
that it's all "Hutus hate Tutsis/both hate Hercules" (I assume
these are givens, and the actual history -- of Africa -- is
irrelevant, that these are Universal Timeless Truths).
So if tomorrow English and Welsh people began killing each other,
well, that's not news. After all (etc.).
