Huh?? If that was raving, I'd be curious to learn what you consider nonraving. He counsels peace, international cooperation, and calm political rhetoric. Of course, he calls the Iranians names, but they really do deserve it.

Two people divided by a common language again. Sure the story is "objective" as far as it goes. The question is whether it became a news item (a) to warn about possible crazy US military moves, or (b) to warn the crazy Iranian government.

It had to "become" a news item because it is nothing new. There have always been attack plans, there have always been target lists, and there have always been triggers -- just as the Iranians have always had defense plans, have always had counterattack lists, have always had triggers for both retaliation and negotiation.
