It is good -- it's better watched the way it was shown here, over
say eight weeks (ages ago now). I read it was shown there by CBS but
not taken up by the networks.

It is said that Alec Guinness did such a good

I doubt that! but he was very good, so were the rest of the cast.

 What was noticeably absent was any commitment to
PE> socialism or communism.

yes. But that wasn't I believe true of Philby and co.
