Paul wonders why we're not discussing Cheney the hunter. Does anyone here
doubt that the veep can get away with murder?

I'm wondering about first impressions--y'know, Where were you when you first
heard of Cheney's shooting accident, and what was your first reaction?

I heard the news on the radio while driving to a chef friend's house for a
Purl & Curl session. (She cooks something fabulous, her husband fixes my
car, and her granddaughter and I curl up on the sofa with our knitting.)

So I was in the car heading towards Olive Ave, in the Tower District, when I
heard this announcement about Cheney shooting someone. I laughed out loud
and said, aloud (I'm that age), "If this doesn't get that fiend of a vp
kicked out of office, nothing will."

Nothing will.

Where's the discussion of gun control--yes, even hunting rifles? Trained
hunters aren't all that safe, NRA. Instead, the victim apologized to Cheney.
Unfkingbelievable. Am I alone in hoping this country--nay, the world--\can
just hang in there and survive the bush administration?

Carol
