Hi all I just noticed a grave mistake in my texinfo version of the manual. I had created it using some other texinfo manual that I had from another GNU project, using the same basic structure and title page. This included also some licensing information that was included on the title page. So I basically moved the licensing information from its own section to the title page. In the process of doing this I apparently did not copy the proper text from the original. I fixed this now in my local copy where I reinserted the "Licensing" section (as a subsection of "Programming with liblouis"). I can commit this and we should have the texinfo manual reflect the state of the documentation at http://www.jjb-software.com/liblouis-guide.html. However this brings me to the next question: The whole licensing situation seems a bit unclear. The COPYING file in the tar ball says that liblouis is LGPL. The Google code project page says that it is GPL v2 and the manual says it is GPL with permissions and restrictions. Which one is right? LGPL seems to make the most sense to me since it is a library, but it is not up to me to decide. We have to respect the original license from the copyright holders. Thoughts?
