This is in fact true. All 32 bit operating systems will handle up to 3 gb
of ram. This is a limitation of the 32 bit implementation. The 64 bit
operating systems do not have this issue.

Subject: Vista and memory
Hello Listers,
I talked with a sales rep from gateway thursday, and he told me vista only
sees memory up to 3 gigabytes. Is this true?
Thanks.
Robbie
