Hi there,
If it is 32-bit computer, then yes, but with some corrections: 32-bit kernel
can only recognize up to 4.00 GB of RAM (2 to the 32nd power). A 64-bit
kernel can recognize up to 2 to the 64th power of memory (around couple
exabytes, which is a lot by today's standards).
Cheers,
Joseph

Hello Listers,
I talked with a sales rep from gateway thursday, and he told me vista only
sees memory up to 3 gigabytes. Is this true?
Thanks.
Robbie
