Hi,

I've found that in order for a hotkey to work, like the one used to start 
jfw, you have to first reboot your machine. I once did this, added a 
shortcut key, tried it, and it didn't work. When I restarted, alt control J 
then took effect.

I agree that APPLY is often needed before OK if you want the settings to 
stick and the shortcut dialog is one example. It may not be necessary in 
WindowsXP, I still always do it as a carry over from Win98 which is still in 
use at work where it definitely is necessary.
