Hi Paul, have you had any luck with your computer issues? Re your second question, could it be a program you installed recently causing this? Some window applications are not visible with Jaws and they cause it to behave oddly. When you leave your computer try to focus Jaws on the desktop and see if that helps. This is just guess work but thought I'd throw it in as no one's replied with a definitive answer.
