Hi Anthony, and the rest of you following this line of email regarding
advertising on the list.

Our goal with ISAserver.org is to provide you all with a one-stop gateway
for information on ISA Server, over the last few months the site has grown
into a friendly community for ISA Server experts and novices to discuss
various issues and most of all, help each other out. We're trying to make
the site as user friendly as possible and regular visitor surveys help me
know what you guys want from the website.

It is true that i have received several offers for hosting the list,
however, this is not an option i would go for because of the simple reason
that if the list becomes to big, which i expect it will, it will be
difficult for the free hosting service to continue supporting us, and moving
the discussion list once was already a big enough headache, so doing it
several times might prove to cumbersome.

Seeing that some of you do not want advertising on the list, i will be sure
to discuss this with all of you before(if) it is implemented, I'm sure we
can come to a reasonable agreement which will suit everyone. Remember that
we want everyone to benefit from this site and if there is ever anything
that you guys want changed, removed or added, I'm all out to help and
welcome your suggestions at isainfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This is not really an issue for the time being anyway.

Regards,
Stephen Chetcuti

Quite simply - tough. There is no *need* to provide a list with
advertisements - period. There have been at least two offers, and i'm
sure there will be more if the request goes up - this can't be an issue!
List members have asked for no adds (and yes, I'm definitely one of
them) so why is there a problem? Besides, I don't have a problem with
this - I'll unsubscribe, and if I can't live without the list (theres a
world of http sites that (although maybe slower) may have the
information required). Failing that, subscribing for a quick question,
getting the answer, then getting off will suffice for me too.
