EduBOSS is yet to be released. It contains a subset of applications which
are also found in Debian / EdUbuntu, but also has other applications --
taken from Sourceforge, etc. -- which have been bundled together. So far,
the emphasis has been on applications of relevance upto 8th standard or so
in our (state baord / cbse etc.) curriculum.
The BOSS and NRCFOSS portals are being revamped -- and EduBOSS (in its
current state) will be ported for study/enhancement/comment by interested
members.
[For instance, "Oscar" developed at IIT Mumbai is very useful for school
children -- but some work need to be done to make it work on BOSS platform.
It could, as a followup or in an independent manner, could also be ported to
run on other distro].
