I have been discussing with Prof. M.Kumaran, HOD, CSD,
Jaya Engineering College on a half-a-day/one-day
workshop for them, prior to the LDD.
They are planning for a LDD in August, and require
guidance and support from ILUGC members.
"We are offering FOSS as elective to our Engineering
and MCA students. Last year out of 580 students opted
Foss as elective from various engineering colleges in
tamil Nadu, 150 of our students taken. They are very
much enjoyed with that course and passed with very
good score. This semester we are offering for 100
students. We have active Linux Campus Club in our
campus. And we have seperate FOSS Lab. This is abt
brief outline of foss activity in our campus. "
