Mike,
Here's how I copy a shape:
- On the menu at top, click Shape -> Select Shape or Void
- Click on the shape to be copied (it highlights)
- On the highlighted shape, RMB -> Copy (copies to the layer the shape
is on), OR (this one is great!) RMB -> Copy to Layers (you can then copy
the highlighted shape to just one or many layers at once!

I seem to remember seeing a copy shape command instead of z-copy
but
cant seem to find it in my menus.....does anyone happen to know
it?
