Hi, That is indeed an interesting idea. But please bear in mind that there are now and will be many more Icon users who don't know any Braille, especially thumb Braille. So any implementation of such an idea should be relevant to the largest possible user-base. For those of you who have owned Pocket PC devices or PACmates, you will be familiar with this, but for those who don't I should explain. In the Pocket PC environment you get the opportunity to password-protect your device. In the case of Mobile Speak Pocket, there are even some devices with finger print scanners. If your device is stolen, you can have it set so that if the thief has 3 failed password attempts, the unit will excecute a hard reset and wipe everything as a protective measure. I was thinking about something similar for the Icon. To make it even more complexing for the thief, however, and less likely to try it in the first place, I think the password should be limited to thumb braille only.
