Trying to reproduce in various Ubuntu Precise environments. First off,
virtual machine with minimal ubuntu install from
<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD> . Package
selection is roughly ubuntu-minimal + stuff needed to build hipl.
Cannot reproduce.

Bug description:
DNS proxy does not work in Ubuntu precise because dnsmasq has
mandatory and has been integrated in rather interesting way. Note:
fixing this should not affect, e.g., Debian or Fedora.
