I also contacted the author, momoziro, and with translating help from koki
(thanks!), he
says it's fine with him to include it with Haiku. He also sent the source code
to the
vm_server, which handles the clipboard sharing. Personally, I don't know if the
vm_mouse
stuff works at all. I'd be happy if the only vm_server were included as
optional package.
Anyway, I attached the source to this mail, if the devs feel like putting it
into our SVN.
Now, if only we had a UserBootscript with an autostart folder block, we could
easily
include and start the vm_server at startup in vmware images...
