If the sides are this polarized on the issue, perhaps there should be
an "options" or a "mode" menu that lets you choose between "standard"
and "spectacular" modes. Have the standard mode (clone of R5
ShowImage) by default, and if the user changes the option all the fancy
features become available. Sure would hate to see all the hard work go
to waste (plus all the time talking about it). My 2 cents..
