Sorry, but I had to jump in here.

Word (the name for M$'s word processor) is singural, but the program handles 
documents which consist of many words. That does not make the name 
inadequate, nor does it misrepresent what the program does for the user. This 
argument that having an option to show the next image is a flaw in use design 
because ShowImage is singular seems flawed to me. Users just get accostumed 
to program names, even if they do not mean anything, so there is no real reason 
to worry.

I do not want to get into the bloatware discussion, since it is very 
subjective. But if 
bloatware refers to bloated software, and bloat means expansion to the point of 
causing pain, then I do not think that OpenShowImage falls into this category. 
The 
slideshow feature is just a simple and useful addition, and I do not see how it 
can 
cause any harm.
