As I currently can't even get an account at BitBucket, I'm going
to continue this here...

I did manage to get the ruby bep etc. from haikuporter, checked
that it built on my 44674 system, then moved over to the new
(45851) partition, and tried to do the build there. It won't...
It's actually (the built) miniruby during the build that fails, with
exactly the same symptoms as above.

As ruby is the basis of a lot of my day-to-day utilities, there's no
way I can update until this is solved. Ryan, aren't you using ruby
a lot too? I'll continue digging myself, but I'd appreciate some help.

Thanks,
