You can always link to it from ~/config/settings/boot/launch/

Doesn't seem to work either.  (I just moved it there and recreated
the mime_db entry.)


I wonder though... shouldn't the launch_daemon pick it up via its app
signature when it doesn't find the blacklisted one in /system/servers/
? See:

service x-vnd.Haiku-notification_server {
  launch /system/servers/notification_server
  no_safemode
  on_demand
}

It doesn't happen anyway.  Where is that snippet found?
