Maybe you removed/crippled your ~/config/settings/boot/UserBootscript ?
In there all the files in the "launch" subfolder are opened. This is

Oh -- heh... I see what happened. My UbserBootScript pointed to
$HOME/config//boot/launch/ ! I guess I had just copied my customized script
from the old system. without noticing the required change there.
