By the way, we have some extra receiver batteries around here along with
early model receivers. If you are ordering something else from Sendero, we
are happy to throw in these items. Just ask.
Never hurts to have a back-up receiver.

Yes, you can charge and power USB devices from the Apex.  It's a 
useful fallback.
