Everyone,
case closed!
It looks like only my combination of Windows XP SP1 and AIM* 3.2.1. does
not work as expected. I installed 3.1 today, and suddenly all of my code
began working. I can retrieve alarmmesg, opraction, .... all thru ODBC
and PHP. ASP still needs some polishing up, but PHP is more than fine
with me.
I'll experiment a bit with other versions of AIM* but I think I have
found the solution to my problem.
Thank you all for helping me out on this one. Without your feedback I
would never explore in this way.
