Is there any documentation on how to do backups over the 2nd Ethernet? I =
am upgrading to 51F boxes and have 2nd Ethernet cards in each of them with =
plans to set up this second Ethernet Network. What commands do you need =
to use to make the backups work over this 2nd Ethernet network.

Thanks,

Don't.

Do not.

Do not ever.

Why?

The traffic generated by moving a disk image over the Nodebus is going to
interfere with critical traffic.

Use a "2nd Ethernet" to do such things.

Subject: [foxboro] 51 series remote backups

Hello List,

Here's an easy one (I suspect!).

How do I do remote backups (WP's especially) over the nodebus.
The external tape drive is connected to the AW and at present I've been =
=3D
moving it to each of the other WP's (which is difficult as the equipment =
=3D
panel does not have rear doors) in order to do the backups.

I have read some of the documentation but would appreciate a =3D
step-by-step.

Thanks,
NB.
