[ExchangeList] Re: Repeating Emails

Thanks everyone for your input on this.  It seems the problem resides with the 
Outlook client of the sender.  I spoke to their IT department and they 
confirmed my suspicions.  Thanks again everyone for help in this!!!  Glad I 
spent countless hours scouring the net and troubleshooting my Exchange server 
and spam filter, haha…

I just called Barracuda and the version you're running is a *beta* version of 
their firmware.  If you're in their beta program, you may want to report this 
behaviour to them.  If you're not in their beta program, you may want to call 
them and get reverted back to a production version of their firmware.

According to my Barracuda 300, the latest general release software is 3.4.10.87 
from Jan 9, 2007  There was briefly an "early release" that's newer than that 
but it was still a 3.4.x.x release, not a 3.5.x.x

Wow, sounds identical to the problem I am having.  The Cuda box is fairly new.  
I am running the same version of firmware as you and I also have had no luck 
with their support in this matter, although they have been helpful in the past.

 

I am going to work with the admin of the senders' server to see if we can come 
up with anything, just so I can get a view of what is happening on BOTH sides o 
this really annoying coin…  I will save your address and let you know if I come 
up with any solutions.

Rich, I'm in the same boat as you (Exchange 2003 with a cuda 300).  I 

have 1 (reported) user with 1 particular message that's being 

redelivered every 83 minutes.  What firmware are you running?  I'm on 

v3.5.09.015.  How old is the cuda?  I don't believe it's a problem with 

exchange at all.  I ended up blocking the sender on the cuda, not 

exchange.  After one block, the offending email server never came back. 

  Barracuda support couldn't find anything wrong with our box, either.
