Yes, we recommend cached mode. It greatly improves the user experience,
in my opinion.

If an OST corrupts, delete it and recreate. That is one of the great
things about cached mode -- it still all exists on a reliable backed up
server.

Good point. So, you recommend to your clients to always run in cached
mode?

What about local OST corruption and the like?
