I have been looking at the Index Basic DV 4 and 5, and they do sound good. The
wifi capability appeals to me. Thanks.

I own 2 juliet pro units. One has not needed a repair in several years but
another has been repaired 3 times for the same dots missing issue over the past
18 months. Very frustrating.

I haven’t compared prices, but I like Index Basic-D embossers. I bought my
first one used off EBay and got several years’ use out of it. My current
Basic-D was purchased new over 3 years ago and I have not had any problems with
it. They are tough machines. I think they are also faster than Juliets,
although I don’t have current stats in front of me. My Basic-D v.4 embosses
over 300 Braille pages per hour (over 150 interpoint pages per hour).

Subject: [duxuser] Braille Embossers
Hi Everyone,
Once again some of the dots on my Juliet Pro 60 are no longer printing. If I
decide to return it to Enabling Technologies for repair, this will be the third
time in around 6 years. It has been less than a year since I received it back
from the shop last time. I'm seriously considering not bothering to return it.
Does anyone have any experience with the Juliet 120 wireless interpoint
embosser? Also, can anyone recommend an interpoint embosser that might be less
expensive and more reliable? All help appreciated. Thanks.
Diane
