I think you may need to check your spelling - evidently Windows 7 (in 
particular) does not like

processorArchitecture="X86"

  evidently it should be

processorArchitecture="x86"


Personally I think it is being too exact for the case but we have no control 
over it.

It seems that I must recompile the dll without any manifest too because in 
critical places Windows 7 does like a 'normal' dll having a manifest.
