I guess that's it then because I did exactly what you said with the TTS the
Ederal and the Psim2. I haven't tried it with Dimension pro. Do you think it
will work? What are some of the soft synths that can be accessed through the
inspector.

when you have inserted a soft synth in the effects bin for an audio
track, you can open the inspector for that track, then shift arrow to go to
the effects tab and then shift down arrow to toggle the three viewing states
and only one will show the four parameters that can be modified at one time.
tip: you can reassign the parameter controls and still the changes you have
made will remain.
note that not all soft synths will let you edit parameters.

When you have multiple outputs you can have different sounds routed to
them, that way you can treat the audio track of every output with different eq,
or effects.

Also, if you insert a softsynthe across the track bin, rather than in
the sintherack or, through the insert menu then, you won't be able to insert it
as a multy output softsynthe.

my experience has been that inserting the soft synth in the synth
rack or with insert will not allow the parameters to be edited in the
inspector. when you insert it to de fx bin then you can open the audio track's
inspector and by hitting shift right arrow you find the effects view then you
do a shift down arrow and you can change three fx modes for viewing. one of
them displays 4 parameters that you can edit or reassign to edit different
parameters and all the changes will all be recalled when you load this project.
but in the case of inserting the soft synth in the effects bin, i
have encountered problems when freezing the track.
to insert the soft synth i do it a little differently,. i open the
insert from the menu bar, then select audio track, then go to the fx bin and
hit application key and select soft synth.
The second answer is that if your soft synth recognizes patch
change then or if it is multi-timbral then you need to assign the midi channel.

I have two questions about soft synth insertions.
1. What is the difference between inserting a soft synth by going
to alt I, then inserting it that way, or if you rout jaws to pc on a midi
track, then insert an audio track, and then insert the soft synth as an effect
in the effects bin of the audio track?
2. When I insert a soft synth, do I need to go to the midi track
assigned to the soft synth and assign it to a midi channel?
