Hi Jack,

Just a working technique that you will gonna find that through the Clip payne will be very andly, something that it's not possible through the track view! If you choose to record using the feature sound on sound recording, you will gonna have to go to the clip payne and cut some parts, or you can choose any better clip that you played or sing better, eliminating other parts! Or, another idea, select from and through, loop it, recor several clips, than go to the clip payne and choose the best clip!

Regarding splitting a clip, actually you dont need to use the clip payne though it's possible to do through it! Splitting a clip it's necessary if, per example, if you want to use the VVocal feature only in a specific part of a clip, you will gonna need to bounce to clip. than select a clip part. go to the edit menu and choose to split that clip. than select again that splitted clip. than go again to the edit menu and select the VVocal feature. This way, VVocal, or any other plugin, will only open the selected clip!

regards,
Rui Vilarinho
