The one I got was under #20 and it took away all the high interference
sounds from the lap top.
It doesn't plug in to the wall or anything like that, it simply has two
male
phonos on a short cable which is attached to a barrel about the size of a
coke can you get on a plain, at the other end of the barrel is another
cable
with female phonos.

Hi Mark,
My lap top was also built for me purely as a music computer.
The thing about lap tops is, Some of the circuitry is not insulated that
well which can caurse audio noyce.
Tthis happens even on expensive lap tops as they are not quite as
inserlated
as say a PC.
It was a high noice I was getting on my lap top, it also would disappear
when using the battery power.
I simply plut the male phonos from the Ground Loop Iserlater into the
audio
outs on my Fast Track Pro Sound card then plug the audio cables that go
to
my mixer into the female phonos on the Ground loop iserlater.
I'm almost certain a Ground loop icerlater will work.
Try this first before messing with electrics.
