After Alan Adams posted yesterday (Thurs), I increased the 1.27b

RISC OS 6.20 and RPCEmu 4.39, 6.20 and 5.23 loaded the jpeg okay.
Experimentally, I reduced the wimpslot allocation a bit, 15000K
will still enable DPScan to load the jpeg okay, but 14000K will not.
15M seems rather excessive to me. I am not sure why this should be,
when 2M is sufficient on native hardware. Are these emulators doing
something different with memory management? Size of DAs clamped to
small values? I still do not see why things should be so different
between 1.25/6 and 1.27. I must check the original source of the IJPG
library to see if there is any user setting that limits the size of
any workspace memory it grabs. I know the much more recent version 9
of the library will have been released when hardware (for Windows,
Mac and Linux) would have GB of RAM so memory size would not be a
problem.
