I did not go through all but heres a 100 reasons

One thing I like is the Reliability Monitor. Helps you find out what went wrong. Cause the boss or friends said "I didn't do anything" and this does not lie.

Maybe Windows XP is an upgrade for Vista.

A couple of weeks ago I went into a store and played with Vista for about 45
minutes. I tried both PCs and laptops with varying computer power. I know
this is about as unscientific and subjective as can be, and its certainly my
personal opinion.

I think that most tech people will shun Vista. After all, what's so great
about it unless you are just wooed by the eye-candy? I've read more reviews than I can remember, and all they talk about are how wonderful the zooming, translucent windows are. Even after only 45 minutes or so, it was beginning to piss me off and I started looking for ways to make it look like...Windows.

For grownups, business people, or anyone who just wants to use a computer to get work done, there is no need for this expensive, and in my opinion useless upgrade. But, for new users, or people who like this sort of thing, it will
become the standard just as Windows XP is now.

Almost without fail, the articles and magazines I read glorify Vista as so
much improved over XP that it is referred to as "a must upgrade." I've never
been a conspiracy theorist, but it makes me wonder who is in bed with
Microsoft.

Anyone as disappointed with Vista as I am?

Recently purchased a "Vista Basic" notebook for my wife, Toshiba. Only
did so for the price (President's day sale) with the thought of loading
XP. Turns out this is a Vista only notebook as there are no XP drivers
and of course Toshiba has spec'd propritary hardware. Drivers direct
from ATI and others don't work.
Hours/Days later with a clean install of Vista Business and Office 2007
the hardware barely runs the software even will all the fluff turned
off. This is only half the battle. I have disabled UAC, etc but Vista
still gets in the way.
Long story short, I'm all in favor of principle of least privedge but...
If I'm using my domain admin account, I want to be an admin. To my way
of thinking, MS will need to release a hot fix or SP if they ever want a
business to adopt this. I have no time to deal with this getting in the
way at my place of business nor could I afford to spec each and every
desktop and notebook with 2GB of memory.

I see a trend going on here....... :-O
