I do find it really weird that a bunch of Humanware sites don't even work with there own products. They should work on this before even enhancing the browser. Gosh.

Actually, you couldn't see anything related to the status; not the size, how much was downloaded... Nothing. However, you could see this when downloading from other sites... Humanware's site is strange, to say the least... It barely works with there notetakers...

Maybe but you were able to see how meny mb got down. With this bug you can't. As I said it before it did happen with other sites. Its nothing with hw. It is an apex bug. You could tryit on the u2 and see it. Zip files do show percentages on the hw
site. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ricardo Herrera <deathdogg@xxxxxxxxx To: carlos.lopez.1209@xxxxxxxxx,braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx,brajmund200 0@xxxxxxxxx Date sent: Thu, 07 Nov 2013 11:13:19 com0800 Subject: Re: [BNU] Unable to Download Dictionary from Humanware Web SiteAs I said earlier, when I downloaded upgrade files and extentions
from hw's web site, there was never a percentage, so I left it for like 10 minutes, maybe a bit longer, depending on what fileit was, and the download worked. There are some sites that don't
show download status, that that is not known to me. File doesdownload though, you just gotta wait. Feels like 9 1 1 where you

I think my BrailleNote must have done a reset holding dots 1-2-3 instead of a soft reset. Therefore, I tried downloading the Concise Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus from Humanware's web site but am not able to.. During
the download process, the braille display says, "please wait" and there are the usual progress beeps, but when I check for progress information, the display goes blank until I press the Advance thumb key. It seems that the BrailleNote is stuck even though it makes progress beeps, which mean that the BrailleNote is doing something. I canceled the download, pressed reset, deleted the dictionary file and tried again, but got the same result. Why is this happening and how can I fix it? I've never had problems downloading and reinstalling the dictionary before. Thank you.
