As I try to explain to my student, THE STATE is us! We the taxpayers all
contribute to a fund, and that has to divided between all those students
who are blind. In our state, that does not include technology like a
laptop, ipad, or notetaker. If someone has been generous enough to provide
you with technology, be grateful, Now with that said, is having something
easier, worth $7,000 dollars in a district where over half the students
cannot afford to pay for their own lunches. Or is the scrolling wheel,
scrolling the weight of the BN, things that a student could deal with for
the time being? If you had to make the choice? Would you pay $7,000 for
those conveniences?

Thanks for your input.
