Deep Background, by the Washington Editor of The Nation Magazine, David
Corn, is an extremely intelligent political thriller. The large cast
includes well-drawn characters from the White House to the Washington D. C.
ghettoes. I've also submitted Standing At the Scratch Line, by Guy
Johnson. This is a novel concerning racism and crime in America between the
two world wars. Guy Johnson is the son of Maya Angelou, and he can write.
