Aman Singer once posted information on a battery replacement that allows the BP to operate on AC or, if memory serves, a cigarette lighter converter. I see this as potentially increasing the size of the device, since additional hardware would be needed. On the other hand, it's something that I'd like to see, too, provided its effects on size and weight weren't very great. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruce Toews" <dogriver@xxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 14, 2005 8:59 AM Subject: [bookport] Re: new unit proposal I would also like to see this. I know progress is frowned on here, but I think that letting me plug the unit in where the facilities exist would be gret - you'd then also be able to use a cigarette lighter adaptor. bruce -- Bruce Toews E-mail and MSN/Windows Messenger: dogriver@xxxxxxxx Web Site (including info on my weekly commentaries): http://www.ogts.net Info on the Best TV Show of All Time: http://www.cornergas.com On Wed, 14 Sep 2005, Chris Hill wrote: > Any reason for this?
