Hello, The speakers I have, give me the quality I need, and if I don't want to use them, I just disconnect them, and can use them on other devices, such as a portable DVD player. One of the bookport's strengths is it's small size, would the unit have to be larger to fit in a speaker that could provide any level of useful sound. I don't know, but think some of us may be surprised with the answers. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Otto Zamora Sent: Sunday, September 11, 2005 10:05 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: bookport needs a speaker: Hello, Radio shack is certainly an option, I have travel speakers which I have in a case with the unit. One reasonable solution I've heard is to go to an electronics store like Radioshack and find a portable speaker that includes a compartment in which the bookport can be stored. That allows you to listen to it without using ear buds or a head set. I have a bookport on the way. And that's one of the first things I'm going to get. Of course, I'll also get a 2-gig flash card.
