I wanted to let you know that I was able to add the Windows Media stream to
my schedule of recorded shows and to get a successful recording. Not sure
what I did wrong the first time but i'm still pretty new at this. You're
right that the controls to stop and start recording are tricky but they can
be found with the JAWS cursor if folks are careful. Not sure how this is for
Windoweyes, of course, but maybe a simple script or a little tweaking could
allow for labeling that part of the dialog a bit better. As for RM streams,
are you saying that there are known problems with them, or just that you
yourself haven't been able to test them since you don't have RealPlayer
installed? i know there are some streams that require use of the paid
version of Realplayer such as the sports streams to which one must
subscribe, but in my experience the free version does fine. i don't
generally convert .rm to .mp3 because for me the seek feature in RealPlayer
as of version 10 allows me to move through the files easily just as with
Winamp. i'll have to do some playing with the converter.

I will test the WMP - Windows Media streams for you. The rtsp:
link you see below is for Real Player. I strongly recommend you
use a WMP stream when recording.
In order for the rtsp link you see to work you must have Real
Player on your computer. I do not have it on this computer.
