Ahhh, but you can use more than one phone. It's called a phone splitter. When we had it we ran a cordless phone, a cordless phone set and a regular wired phone. It made no difference how many phones we plugged in or didn't, it still performed the same. Also, one thing you do have to keep in mind is that it will only perform as good as the computer and internet connection that you have. Therefor, It might perform at home extremely well, but when you go somewhere else, it may not work very good at all. The biggest problem I found with it was that when you were using the computer it was on, and the computer started scanning for viruses or something like that, the call got extremely choppy on the out going part. Usually as a rule, we had no problem with the incoming sound, but many people we talked to complained that it was garbled on their end so be careful and unlike us, use it a lot in the 30 day trial period and ask the people on the other end how it sounds. -----Original Message----- From: blind_html-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:blind_html-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Betteye Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2009 6:47 AM To: blind_html@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: blind_html Re: Magic Jack Questions Working on fax machines is one of the great plus features of magic jack. I'm going to install mine on the fax machine so that it is in use always, the fax will then have a dedicated line. This means that I must plug magic jack into my desktop usb then into my fax machine. I don' t think I will be using a phone, I will let you know when I install. I'm getting ready to go to Mobile Alabama to a GMAC Bowl with our son so that means that I will be using my Magic Jack in the hotel. The only thing that you can not do with Magic Jack is to try to use more than one cordless phone. You can only use one phone and no extensions per my sister. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nimer Jaber" <nimerjaber1@xxxxxxxxx> To: <blind_html@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 2009 11:57 PM Subject: blind_html Re: Magic Jack Questions > I don't belieeve so. > > Thanks > Nimer J > > Nimer M.
