The rank spelling feature in Kurzweil is useful when correcting scanos. Often scano errors fall into patterns. For instance though die is a word it is often possible to do a global replace of "with die" "of die" "In die" and so forth. Rank spelling is just a fancy spell checker with great built in utilities which makes it easier to spot patterns errors. Elizabeth
