I like your idea of doing searches for phrases like "in die" and "with
die". In the past, the only way I knew to fix such errors was to try to
catch them while reading. Thanks for the tip!

The rank spelling feature in Kurzweil is useful when correcting scanos.
Often scano errors fall into patterns. For instance though die is a word
it is often possible to do a global replace of "with die" "of die" "In
die" and so forth. Rank spelling is just a fancy spell checker with great
built in utilities which makes it easier to spot patterns errors.
