True, you can just leave them in txt. I do all my editing in K1000 so once I
get them into RTF I just leave them there.

Hi KKatie,

You can leave plain text files as .txt if you have a program with which too
edit them.  I have validated .txt files and left them as plain text when
uploading.  I do not convert them to RTF and then convert them back,
however, as that destroys page breaks.
