Hi Monica!! Those sound like interesting cookbooks.1/2 c. would be fine. With the period after the c, it won't be confused with the word can as just c by itself.

Hi everyone. I have been given three short cookbooks, and I think they're going to scan well enough to submit. They look good so far. Each one is around 100 pages. My mom is going to help me read ingredients if something doesn't come out well. I'll share the titles, and then I have a question about making the ingredients work for Braille users. I've never actually submitted a cookbook, and I need a little guidance. The titles areBetter Homes and Gardens Breakfast and Brunch Cookbook Better Homes and Gardens Chocolate Cookbook Better Homes and Gardens Great Grilling CookbookOk, I know I need to write out the fractions for measurements. For Braille users, do I write them as 1/2 cup? Also, in the recipes, the measurements are abbreviated, like the letter C for cup. I think the Braille translator might show 1/2 C as 1/2 can if a person if using grade 1 or computer Braille. Is that right, or does the Bookshare tool know to show it as the letter C? I'll fix it if I need to, but I don't want to make extra work for myself if I don't need to.Thanks for any clarification you all can provide.
